Because today ended up being an unexpected extra day of winter break. Charlie didn't have to go to school so he kept busy with his ds, playing in the snow, taking a nap and reading. Tomorrow it's back to the regular schedule for all of us.

Buttons might seem a strange place to begin. But these buttons are a culmination of several weeks of sorting my scrap supplies and I love the idea of starting the new year with a burst of color and some much needed organization.
